By accessing Ocean Dunes Golf Course facilities, making a booking, or participating in any activity on-site, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions:
GENERAL TERMS
- All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD), include GST, and are subject to change without notice.
- Bookings are subject to availability and course conditions.
- Ocean Dunes reserves the right to amend or cancel tee times or bookings due to weather, maintenance, safety, or operational requirements.
BOOKING POLICY
- A booking is considered “reserved” once requested and “confirmed” once full payment is received.
- Confirmation will be provided via email. If you do not receive one, please contact us at enquiry@oceandunes.com.au.
- Proof of Australian residency may be required to access domestic rates. International guests will be quoted accordingly.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
- Full payment is required at the time of booking. A booking will not be deemed confirmed until payment is received in full and acknowledge in writing by Ocean Dunes.
- Optional extras such as transfers, meals, additional golf rounds or local tours may be added subject to availability and may be requested at the time of enquiry or booking.
- Some packages may require minimum guest numbers or minimum- nights stay. These requirements will be clearly communicated during your proposal and booking process.
TEE TIME MODIFICATIONS
- Ocean Dunes may alter tee times for operational reasons including weather or maintenance.
- Guests may request tee time changes by contacting the Pro Shop or emailing enquiry@oceandunes.com.au. Availability is not guaranteed.
CANCELLATION POLICY & FEES
‘Golf Only Booking’
- Any cancellation of Bookings by the client must be provided in writing to Ocean Dunes and are subject to payment of the cancellation fees set out below:
- Cancellations made at least 90 days prior to the golf booking date, will be entitled to a 100% refund
- Cancellations made less than 90 days prior to the golf booking date, will not be entitled to a refund.
- A ‘No Show’ will not be entitled to a refund.
‘Packages’
- Cancellations; In the event that a package or booking is cancelled by either the Facilitator or the Customer after confirmation, the Ocean Dunes Cancellation Schedule shall apply. The cancellation terms are as follows:
- All deposits are strictly non-refundable upon confirmation of the booking.
- For groups of eight (8) or fewer golfers;
- Cancellations made less than ninety (90) days prior to the scheduled arrival date are absolutely non-refundable.
- Cancellations made more than ninety (90) days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of AUD $250 per person and deducted from eligible refund.
- For groups of nine (9) or more golfers;
- Cancellations made less than six (6) months prior to the scheduled arrival date are absolutely non-refundable.
- Cancellations made more than six (6) months prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of AUD $250 per person.
This cancellation policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation and is designed to reflect the operational cost of commitment required for accepting bookings on the remote King Island.
RAIN CHECK POLICY
- If play is prohibited due to severe weather, a Rain Check Voucher may be issued, valid for 12 months.
- Determination of weather conditions and voucher eligibility is at the sole discretion of Ocean Dunes management.
- Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
PLAYER AND VISITOR SAFTEY OBLIGATIONS
- All guests must adhere to safety instructions issued by Ocean Dunes staff and comply with all signage and directional guidance.
- Golf is an outdoor sport involving risks (e.g., being struck by a ball, tripping on uneven terrain). By accessing the course, you accept these risks.
- Appropriate footwear and sun protection are strongly recommended.
- Golf carts must be used responsibly and only by licensed drivers.
- Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
- Alcohol must be consumed in line with responsible service guidelines.
- In an emergency or if injury occurs, notify staff or the Pro Shop immediately.
CODE OF CONDUCT
- All players must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their tee time.
- All golfers must maintain the standards outlined in the R&A Rules of Golf, including pace of play, care for the course, and respect for others.
- Ocean Dunes reserves the right to remove any person from the premises for non-compliance or unsafe behaviour.
GOLF CART USE
- Carts are available for hire and must be driven on designated paths where applicable.
- Drivers must hold a valid driver’s licence and follow all cart safety instructions.
- Damage to carts or property caused by negligent use may incur repair charges.
PAYMENT TERMS
- Full payment is required to confirm all bookings.
- Accepted payment methods include Mastercard, Visa (processing fees apply), and bank transfer.
PRIVACY
- Personal information is collected for booking and communication purposes only and will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

LIABILITY WAIVER
- Ocean Dunes accepts no liability for injuries, damage, or losses incurred on site except where required by law.
- Guests play and enter the course and facilities at their own risk.
