OCEAN DUNES – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PLAY

Welcome to Ocean Dunes.
To ensure an enjoyable and safe experience for all golfers, the following Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, course access, and on-site activity.

By confirming a booking or entering the course, you agree to the conditions below.

1. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations
- All tee times remain tentative until full payment is received.
- Your reserved tee time provides a First Right of Refusal only.
- Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to play are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations inside 30 days are non-refundable unless the course is closed by Ocean Dunes management.
- No-shows and late arrivals (more than 10 minutes past your tee time) may forfeit their booking without refund.

2. Weather & Course Closure
- Due to our coastal location, conditions can change rapidly.
- Ocean Dunes may suspend, delay, or cancel play at any time due to unsafe weather, including extreme wind, lightning, heavy rain or low visibility.
- Refunds or credits are only issued if the course is officially closed by management.
- Inclement weather that does not result in course closure does not qualify for a refund.

3. Course Maintenance
- To maintain world-class playing conditions:
- Temporary tee boxes, greens, or hole closures may occur as required.
- Maintenance impacts affecting fewer than three holes do not warrant partial or full refunds.
- We will communicate major works as early as possible.

4. Pace of Play
- To ensure all golfers enjoy their round:
- Groups must maintain the required pace of play.
- Staff may instruct slow groups to pick up, skip a hole, or move forward if delays occur.

5. Golf Cart Hire & Liability
- Cart use is subject to weather, availability, and safety conditions.
- By hiring a cart, you agree that:
- Carts must follow all directional signs and remain on designated paths where required.
- Carts may be restricted when conditions are unsafe or may cause course damage.
- The hirer is responsible for any damage caused to a cart beyond normal wear and tear.
- Unsafe cart operation may result in removal from the course without refund.

6. Behaviour, Alcohol & On-Course Conduct
- Ocean Dunes is committed to a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Intoxication, unsafe behaviour, abusive language, or failure to follow staff instructions may result in removal from the course.
- No refunds will be provided in such cases.
- Please respect the course, fellow golfers, and all staff at all times.

7. Personal Belongings & Liability
- Guests enter the course at their own risk.
- Ocean Dunes is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property except where required by law.
- Please ensure valuables are not left unsecured.

8. Wildlife & Snake Awareness
- Ocean Dunes is home to native wildlife, including snakes.
- Snakes may be present around dunes, rough areas, and water hazards, particularly in warmer months.
- For your safety, do not approach or attempt to handle wildlife under any circumstances.
- If you encounter a snake, keep a safe distance and allow it to move away.
- Report any sightings to staff as soon as possible.
- Guests enter the course acknowledging these natural environmental risks.

9. Drone & Photography Policy
- Drone use is prohibited without written permission from management.
- Ocean Dunes may capture photos or video for marketing purposes. By entering the course, you consent to incidental inclusion unless otherwise requested.

10. Group & Tour Operator Bookings
- For bookings of 8 or more players, or via a tour operator:
- Separate payment schedules, terms, and cancellation periods may apply.
- Deposits may be required and may be non-refundable depending on the agreement.

11. Non-Players, Walkers & Pets
- Due to safety risks, non-playing walkers are not permitted on the course.
- Pets are not permitted unless prior approval is granted by management.

12. Damage to Course & Property
- All players must repair divots, pitch marks, and rake bunkers.
- Intentional damage to the course or property may result in financial liability for repairs.

13. Accuracy & Policy Updates
- Prices, policies, and tee times are subject to change at any time.
- Ocean Dunes reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions without notice.
